Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterias for the BHEL Trainee Recruitment 2025 is available below in terms of educational institutions and age limit.

Engineer Trainees (ET):

• Educational Qualification: One must have pursued BTech, BE, BTech-MTech, BE-ME, MTech or ME from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.
• Age Limit: One’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years and above 27 years as of January 01, 2025.

Supervisor Trainees (Tech):

• Educational Qualification: One must have pursued Diploma in Engineering with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST) from an institution recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education.
• Age Limit: An individual’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and above 27 years as of January 01, 2025.

Note: The upper age relaxation is applicable for both positions for reserved category candidates as per government rules:

• OBC-NCL: 3 Years 
• SC/ST: 5 Years 
• PwBD:
  • UR: 10 Years 
  • OBC-NCL: 13 Years 
  • SC/ST: 15 Years

Application Fee

In order to apply for recruitment of Engineer Trainee and Supervisor Trainee (Tech) under the BHEL a candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS is required to pay the application fee of ₹795/- using the debit card, credit card or any other provided payment gateway. The payable amount for PwBD, Ex-SM, and SC/ST individuals is ₹295/-. 

Selection Process 

The selection process for the BHEL Trainee Recruitment 2025 consists of multiple stages, which are Computer-Based Test and Personal Interview. You may check the details about each stage by going through the listed points.

• Computer-Based Test: It is expected to be administered in the second quarter of 2025 for the applicants, individuals who will apply will be called for it.
