Students who are seeking admission for two-year DElEd may apply between January 11 and 22, 2025. Exam Date
The exam date for the Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025 has been announced by the BSEB, Patna. Students should know that the exam is going to be administered from February 27, 2025. It will be held in the Computer-Based Test mode across the state at various exam centres with an exam time duration of 02 hours 30 minutes.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criterias to apply for the entrance exam to be held against the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education for academic year 2025-27 is available below.
- Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed the Class 12 Exam with Science, Commerce or Arts stream from a school recognised by the BSEB, Patna or CBSE, New Delhi with at least 50% score as aggregate, the minimum requirement for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Tribes is only 45% score.
- Age Limit: One’s age shouldn’t be below 17 years as of January 01, 2025, there is no cap of upper age limit.
Students who are going to participate in the Class 12 Exam with Science, Commerce or Arts for academic year 2024-25 (in year 2025) are eligible to apply and sit in the Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Exam 2025.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025, a candidate who belongs to Unreserved, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class or Economically Weaker Section is required to pay the application fee of ₹960/- using the one of the provided payment gateway.
The payable amount for Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste and Physical Handicapped candidates is ₹760/-. The deadline to pay the application fee for Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025 is the same as the deadline to submit the application form.
Exam Pattern
The Bihar School Examination Board, Patna will conduct the entrance examination for two-year D.El.Ed through the Computer-Based Test mode, in which a total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked from different sections:
