BITM Eligibility Criteria 2025
The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Technical Assistant ‘A’, Technician ‘A’, Office Assistant (Grade-III) and Junior Stenographer under
Technical Assistant ‘A’
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma (3 years) in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science or NIELIT ‘A’ Level (erstwhile DOEACC ‘A’) / Information Technology from a recognized institution, or
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)/Computer Science.
- Age Limit: 21 Years to 35 years as of 12 March 2025.
Technician ‘A’
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation (10th) with ITI Certificate in the relevant Trade.
- Candidates must have:
- 1 year of experience for a 2-year ITI course.
- 2 years of experience for a 1-year ITI course.
- Age Limit: 18 Years to 35 years as of 12 March 2025.
Office Assistant (Grade-III)
- Educational Qualification:
- Higher Secondary (12th) from a school recognised by the CBSE, CISCE, or any State Board.
- Typing Speed:
- 35 w.p.m. in English OR 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
- Corresponding to 10,500/9,000 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH).
- Age Limit: 18 Years to 25 years as of 12 March 2025.
Junior Stenographer
- Educational Qualification:
- Higher Secondary (12th) from a school recognised by the CSBE, CISCE or any State Board.
- Minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand.
- Age Limit: 18 Years to 25 years as of 12 March 2025.
There is upper age relaxation for 3 years for Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer), and 5 years for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Tribes. Additionally, there is an additional upper age relaxation for 10 years for Physical Handicapped candidates.
BITM Application Fee 2025
In order to apply for the recruitment of Technical Assistant ‘A’, Technician ‘A’, Office Assistant (Grade-III) and Junior Stenographer under the BITM, a candidate is required to pay the application fee of ₹885/- using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway.
