CBSE Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criterias for recruitment of Junior Assistant and Superintendent under the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Assistant: One must have passed the Intermediate (Class 12) Exam from a school recognised by the CBSE, CISCE or any State Board. Additionally, the candidate must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (WPM) in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on a computer.
• Superintendent: The candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university recognized by the UGC. Additionally, the individual must have an experience minimum of three years of administrative experience in an educational institution.

Age Limit: 

• Junior Assistant: One mustn’t be below 18 years and above 27 years.
• Superintendent: The candidate’s age shouldn’t be 21 and above 30 years.

The cut off date to calculate the age is January 31, 2025, the upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years, and 5 years for OBC-NCL, and SC and ST, respectively. Additionally, there is an additional upper age relaxation for 10 years for PwBD.
