Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criterias for the recruitment of Management Trainees under the Coal India Limited is available in terms of educational institutions and experience, and age limit.
Educational Qualification:
- Community Development: 2 years PG Degree/Diploma in Community Development, Rural Development, or similar fields with 60% marks. OR, 2 years PG Degree in Social Work with specialization in Community Development or similar fields with 60% marks.
- Environment: First-Class Degree in Environmental Engineering with 60% marks. OR, any Engineering Degree with a PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering with 60% marks.
- Finance: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ICWA (Cost Accountant).
- Legal: Graduate in Law (3-year or 5-year course) with 60% marks.
- Marketing & Sales: Degree in any subject or discipline with 2 years MBA/PG Diploma in Marketing (Major) with 60% marks.
- Materials Management: Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years MBA/PG Diploma in Management with 60% marks.
- Personnel & HR: Graduate with 2 years full-time PG Degree/Diploma in HR, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, or related fields with 60% marks.
- Security: Graduate with 2 years as an officer in the Armed Forces/CPO. OR, 5 years as an officer in Government, PSEs, or Private Organizations in industrial security.
- Coal Preparation: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in Chemical, Mineral, or Metallurgical Engineering with 60% marks.
Age Limit:
- The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years and above 30 years.
- The upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:
- OBC-NCL: 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- PwBD:
- UR: 10 Years
- OBC-NCL: 13 Years
- SC/ST: 15 Years
Application Fee
In order to submit the application form for recruitment of MT under Coal India Limited, a candidate who belongs to UR, OBC or EWS may have to deposit the application fee of ₹1,180/- using the debit card, credit card or any other provided payment gateway. PwBD and individuals who belong to SC and ST are likely to be exempted from it.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Coal India Limited Management Trainee Recruitment 2025 consists of the two stages, which are Computer-Based Test and Document Verification.
- Computer-Based Test: Candidates who will apply for the recruitment of MT under Coal India Limited will be called for CBT. In the CBT, there will be two papers, in each, there will be a total number of 100 MCQs of each 1 mark the time duration of the exam (both papers) will be 03 hours.
- Document Verification: Individuals who pass the CBT will be called for the DV, it is expected to be held within four weeks after the release of the result for the Computer-Based Test. On the scheduled date, the candidate’s will have to carry two xerox copies for required documents with the original copies.
The final selection list for recruitment of Management Training under Coal India Limited will be compiled on the basis of aspirants’ performance in the CBT.
