The CTET is held annually by the CBSE, New Delhi to award the aspiring Teachers with a TET certificate. The TET Certificate for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is one of the crucial documents, which is required for appointment as Lower Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher, respectively, in government and private schools across the country.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criterias for the CTET July 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is available below in terms of educational qualification.
- Paper 1:
- One must have passed the Intermediate exam from a school recognised by CBSE, New Delhi or any State Board. Additionally, the candidate must have pursued a two-year DElEd or four-year BElEd from an institution recognized by NCTE.
- Paper 2:
- The candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university recognized by the UGC. Additionally, the individual must have pursued a two-year BEd or three-year BEd-MEd from an institution recognized by the NCTE. OR,
- The applicant must have passed the 10+2 Exam from a school recognised by the CBSE, New Delhi, or any State Board. Additionally, the candidate must have pursued a four-year BA-BEd, four-year BSc-BEd, or four-year ITEP from an institution recognized by the NCTE.
Note: There is no cap of lower or upper age limit to apply for the CTET July 2025 for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Application Fee
In order to apply for the CTET July 2025, a candidate is required to deposit the application fee using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway. You may check the category-wise application fee from the below.

It is mandatory to deposit the CTET July 2025 Application Fee by the deadline, because without it no application form will be accepted by the concerned authorities.
Exam Pattern
The CTET July 2025 will be held by the CBSE, New Delhi in offline mode using the OMR Sheets. A total number of 150 MCQs will be asked in each paper, you may check the paper-wise sections from the table below.

Each question will be of 1 mark, and there will be no provision of negative marking. To touch the maximum number of MCQs in each paper, a candidate will have an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes; and the medium of exam will be English and Hindi.
