Delhi Higher Judiciary Vacancy 2024

The number of vacancies for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2024 was announced by the High Court of Delhi with the release of the advertisement. Candidates need to know that there will be a total number of 16 vacancies, out of which, 5 for Unreserved, 5 Schedule Tribes and 6 for Scheduled Caste.

Note: There are no vacancies for Other Backward Class or Economically Weaker Section, but they may apply for this exam as General.

Delhi Higher Judicial Service Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2024 is available below, go through the listed points to check that you are eligible to apply or not.

  • One must have pursued a Bachelor in Law (LLB) from an institution recognised by the Bar Council of India.
  • Additionally, he or she must have obtained a Certificate of Practice (CoP) by passing the All India Bar Examination.
  • Furthermore, the candidate must have practiced as Advocate at least 7 years as of January 10, 2025.
  • The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 35 years and above all 45 years, the upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for 3 years and 5 years for OBC-NCL and SC/ST, respectively.
  • Additionally, the additional upper age relaxation for 10 years is applicable for the Person with Benchmark Disability.

Delhi Higher Judicial Service Application Fee 2024

In order to apply for the Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2024, a candidate who belongs to Unreserved, Other Backward Class or Economically Weaker will have to deposit the application fee of ₹2,000/-, and the application fee for the Schedule Tribes, Schedule Caste and Person with Benchmark Disability is ₹500/-.
