GSPESC Vidhya Sahayak Vacancy 2024

The number of vacancies for recruitment of Vidhya Sahayak in the Government Primary and Upper Primary Schools is disclosed by the GSEPSC, individuals need to know that there are a total number of 13,852 vacancies, out of which, 5,000 are for Class 1 to 5 of Gujarati Medium, 7,000 for Class 6 to 8 of Gujarati Medium, and 1852 for Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 8 for the other the Gujarati Medium.

GSPESC Vidhya Sahayak Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Vidhya Sahayak in the Government Primary and Upper Primary Schools owned by the District / Nagar Education Committee is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification 

1). Upper Primary (Class 6-8) Teaching Assistant:

• Mathematics/Science:
  • B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm + PTC/D.El.Ed (2 years) or
  • B.Sc. with 45% marks + B.Ed (1 or 2 years) or
  • Class 12 (Science) with 50% marks + 4 years B.El.Ed or B.Sc.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education).
• Language:
  • BA/BRS/B.Sc. (with relevant language subjects) + PTC/D.El.Ed (2 years) or
  • BA with 45% marks + B.Ed or 4 years B.El.Ed/B.A.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education).
• Social Science:
  • BA/BRS/B.Sc. (with relevant subjects) + PTC/D.El.Ed (2 years) or
  • BA/BRS/B.Sc. with 45% marks + B.Ed or 4 years B.El.Ed or B.A.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education).
• Required: TET-2 (Teacher Eligibility Test for Upper Primary Education) qualification.

2). Lower Primary (Class 1-5) Teaching Assistant:

• HSC (Class 12) pass with:
  • PTC/D.El.Ed (2 years) or
  • 4 years B.El.Ed or
  • 2 years Diploma in Special Education.
• Required: TET-1 (Teacher Eligibility Test for Lower Primary Education) qualification.

Age Limit:

• Lower Primary: 18 to 33 Years 
• Upper Primary: 18 to 35 Years 
• The upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates, whose details are available below.
  • 5 years for women and reserved categories (SC/ST, EWS).
  • 10 years for candidates with physical disabilities (40% or more).
  • Ex-servicemen: Up to 3 years + service time.

GSPESC Vidhya Sahayak Application Fee 2024

To apply for the recruitment of Vidhya Sahayak in the Government Primary and Upper School Schools, a candidate who belongs to Unreserved is required to make a payment of ₹200/- as an application fee.

The payable amount for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Physically Handicapped is only ₹100/-. The deadline to pay the required fee in cash at the Admission Center is set as November 19, 2024.

In order to apply for recruitment of Vidhya Sahayak in the Government Primary and Upper Primary Schools, you are required to go through the step-by-step instructions below.

• Go to the official website of the Gujarat State Primary Education Selection Commission at 
• On the web-portal of the GSEPSC, you will see an option that reads Register – Other Medium or Register – Gujarati Medium, tap on it.
• Post tapping on the above mentioned option you will have to provide basic details and complete the registration process.
• After the successful registration, you need to Login on the web portal by providing required credentials.
• Now, you have to provide basic and educational qualification details, attach documents with photographs and signatures, and submit the application form.

After the submission of the application form, you have to report at the Admission Center with the application fee, application form, and other documents on or before November 19, 2024, for verification purposes.

GSPESC Vidhya Sahayak Salary 2024

Individuals who will be appointed as Vidhya Sahayak in the Government Primary and Upper Primary Schools will get a monthly stipend of ₹26,000/-, and after five years of service, the pay scale will be as per 6th/7th Pay Commission, whose details are available below.

• 6th Pay Commission: Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 (with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400).
• 7th Pay Commission: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100 (in Level-4 as per the 7th Pay Commission).

The final selection list is going to be prepared based on the performance in the qualifying exam for Primary and Upper Primary Schools.
