ICMR NIOH Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Assistant, Technician-1 and Lab Attendant-1 under the ICMR-NIOH is available below in terms of educational qualification, and age limit.
Assistant (ASST)
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Working knowledge of MS Office/PowerPoint.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Technician – 1 (TECH1)
- Educational Qualifications:
- 12th pass in Science with 55% marks.
- One-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Computer, Chemical Technology, or Industrial Safety from a recognized institution.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Laboratory Attendant – 1 (LA1)
- Educational Qualifications:
- 10th pass with 50% marks.
- One-year experience in a recognized laboratory or ITI certification in the relevant field.
- Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
The cut off date to calculate the age limit is December 11, 2024, the upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 and 5 years for OBC-NCL and SC/ST.
ICMR NIOH Application Fee 2024
In order to apply for the recruitment of any of the advertised positions under the ICMR NIOH, a male candidate who belongs to UR, OBC and EWS is required to pay the application fee of ₹1,000/-, all the female aspirants, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and male candidates who belong to SC or ST are required to make payment of only ₹500/-.
ICMR NIOH Selection Process 2024
The selection process for recruitment of Assistant, Technician-1, and Laboratory Attendant-1 in the ICMR – NIOH consists of a single stage, which is the Written Exam. Individuals need to know that it is likely to be administered in early 2025, a total number of 100 MCQs will be asked from different sections. Each question will carry a weightage of 1 mark and incase of incorrect response 0.25 mark will be deducted.
ICMR NIOH Pay Scale 2024
Individuals who will be appointed as Assistant, Technician-1, and Laboratory Attendant-1 in the ICMR – National Institute of Occupational Health after going through the selection process will get the salary as per pay scale, the details regarding the same is available below.
Laboratory Attendant – 1
- Pay Level: Level-1
- Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹56,900 per month
Assistant
- Pay Level: Level-6
- Salary Range: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month
Technician – 1
- Pay Level: Level-2
- Salary Range: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month
