IDBI Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Specialist – Agri Asset Officer (AAO) and Assistant Manager (JAM), Grade ‘O’ is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
Educational Qualification:
- Grade ‘O’ – Generalist: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the UGC/AICTE.
- Grade ‘O’ – AAO (Specialist): One must have pursued for the four-year Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Agriculture
- Horticulture
- Agriculture Engineering
- Fishery Science/Engineering
- Animal Husbandry
- Veterinary Science
- Forestry
- Dairy Science/Technology
- Food Science/Technology
- Pisciculture
- Agroforestry

Age Limit: The candidate’s age shouldn’t be below 20 years and above 25 years. The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC and SC/ST, respectively.
IDBI Selection Process 2024
The selection process for Specialist – AAO and JAM, Grade ‘O’ under the IDBI consists of multiple stages, which are Online Test, Document Verification, Personal Interview and Pre Recruitment Medical Test. Candidates who will pass the first stage, will be called for the second stage, and the final selection list will be prepared on the basis of their performance in the overall selection process.
IDBI Application Fee 2024
In order to apply for recruitment of Specialist – AAO and JAM, Grade ‘O’ under the IDBI, a candidate who belongs to SC, ST and PwBD is required to pay application fee of ₹250/-, and those who belong to UR, OBC or EWS are required to pay only ₹1,000/-. One has to pay the required amount by deadline, because without it no application form will be accepted by the concerned authorities.
