The notification for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 53 for the course commencing from July 2025 is available on the official website from 7 October 2024. Individuals who are eligible and interested are hereby notified that the window to submit the application form is available till 5 November 2024.

Indian Army TES 53 Vacancy

The number of vacancies for the TES 53 for the course commencing from July 2025 is disclosed by the Indian Army with the release of the advertisement, individuals need to know that there are a total number of 90 positions. The number of positions for the post of TES 53 are tentative i.e. subject to change, there may be an increase or a decrease in number.

Indian Army TES 53 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 53 in the Indian Army are available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

  • The candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam with a 60% score with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a school recognised by State or Central government.
  • The individual must have passed the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024.
  • The applicant’s age shouldn’t be below 16½ years and above 19½ years i.e. candidates should be born between 02 January 2006 and 01 January 2009.

Indian Army TES 53 Selection Process 

The selection process for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 53 in the Indian Army consists multiple stages, which are as follows:

  • Shortlisting
  • SSB Interview 
  • Medical Examination 

Candidates will be shortlisted for the SSB Interview on the basis JEE (Main) score by the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army), individuals will be notified about it via email. Those who clear the SSB Interview, will be called for the Medical Examination, and then the final merit list will be published. 

Indian Army TES 53 SSB Interview Date

The exact date for the SSB Interview for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 53 for the course commencing from July 2025 will be disclosed soon, but there is a high speculation that it will be administered in February or March 2025. During the three year training period for the Indian Army TES 53, individuals who will be appointed will get the monthly stipend of ₹56,100/-; and after the completion of training, candidates will get the salary as per pay scale.
