Maiya Samman Yojana 6th Installment Date: When you get ₹2,500?

The Jharkhand Chief Minister Chamra Linda has finally announced the Maiya Samman Yojana next installment date as the beneficiaries have not got their payment for January and February 2025. In the legislative assembly, the CM said the government will transfer the 6th and 7th installment together to the accounts of women.

The Jharkhand government provides financial assistance to eligible women of the state and empowers them financially. The recipients of the Maiya Samman Yojana who are waiting for the 6th installment can check the payout date and other details here. 

Maiya Samman Yojana 6th Installment Date

The Jharkhand government launched the Maiya Samman Yojana in August 2024 to provide financial security to women from economically weaker sections and empower women across the state. Initially, the government offered ₹1000 a month through the scheme, but the government revised the benefit payment to ₹2500 per month. 

The beneficiaries of the scheme have received the 5th installment on 6 January 2025 for the December month payment, but due to some issue, the recipients have not received the payment for January and February yet. Now, the government has finally shared the update about the next installment ending the wait of the recipients. 

According to what the CM has told in the legislative assembly, the Maiya Samman Yojana recipients can expect the 6th and 7th installment together before Holi 2025. As per the scheme guidelines, the recipients will receive the payout on the 15th of every month, so the recipients can expect the next installment by 14 -15 March 2025.

Who will get the Maiya Samman Yojana 6th Installment? 

The upcoming 6th installment will be transferred to women who meet the eligibility and haven’t received the payment since January 2025. The Jharkhand government has set the following eligibility conditions for the Maiya Samman Yojana scheme to empower the women of the state:

  • You have to be a permanent resident of Jharkhand. 
  • The minimum age of the eligible women should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 50 years to be entitled for the scheme. 
  • The women beneficiary should have a single bank account linked with the Aadhar card number. 
  • The women beneficiaries should come from a family who have a Yellow/ Pink/ White ration card. 

Exclusion:

  • If any family member of the applicant pays income tax, the woman is not eligible for the scheme. 
  • If the applicant/spouse/ or any family member is a regular/permanent or retired central or state government employee, they would not be eligible for the scheme. 
  • If the beneficiary is already receiving any social security pension through the Women, Child, Development, and Social Security Department, they would not be entitled to the scheme. 
  • If any family member of the woman is a former or present MLA/ MP of the state, they would not be entitled to the scheme.

Maiya Samman Yojana Benefits 

The Jharkhand government offers the following benefits to the women across the state through the Maiya Samman Yojana scheme:

  • The scheme offers monthly financial assistance of ₹2500 (annually ₹30,000) to the women beneficiaries to help them become independent or learn new skills. 
  • The regular financial assistance is the government’s effort to improve the lives of women and help them get the equal opportunity to grow, educate, and find opportunities to make their life better.
  • With the regular financial assistance, the government aimed to improve the lives of the economically weaker sections of people and ensure they can access the quality healthcare or nutritious food. 

With this scheme, the government empowers the women and motivates them to take steps to make their life better through learning new skills and generating income. 

What to do if you do not receive the Maiya Samman Yojana 6th Installment? 

The women beneficiaries of the Maiya Samman Yojana have to make sure their Aadhar is linked with the bank account they have registered for the transaction in the scheme application, otherwise, their payment will not process. Hence, if we wish to receive the payout without any issue, they should immediately link their aadhar card to the bank account.

However, if you do not receive the payment on the scheduled date, you can submit your complaint on the official portal and inquire about your payment. The officials will respond to your complaint in a few weeks and provide you a solution.

The Jharkhand government has finally updated about the Maiya Samman Yojana 6th installment, that is, before Holi 2025, so women beneficiaries should ensure their bank account is Aadhar linked and check their bank account at that time.
