MHSRB Telangana Lab Technician Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Lab Technician – Grade II under various departments and organization is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

• Educational Qualifications:
  • One have must Certificate in Laboratory Technician Course, or
  • MLT (VOC)/Intermediate (MLT Vocational) with one-year clinical/apprenticeship training, or 
  • Diploma in Medical Lab-Technician Course (DMLT), or
  • B.Sc (MLT) / M.Sc (MLT), or
  • Diploma in Medical Lab (Clinical Pathology) Technician Course, or
  • Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), or
  • P.G. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, or
  • P.G. Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry, or
  • B.Sc (Microbiology) / M.Sc (Microbiology), or
  • M.Sc in Medical Biochemistry, or
  • M.Sc in Clinical Microbiology, or
  • M.Sc in Biochemistry.
  • The individual must be registered with the Telangana Para Medical Board.
• Age Limit:
  • A candidate must have turned at least 18 years as July 01, 2024.
  • The upper age limit for UR and SC, ST, BC or EWS candidates is 46 years and 51 years, respectively.

MHSRB Telangana Lab Technician Application & Exam Fee 2024

To apply for recruitment of Lab Technician Grade II, a candidate was required to pay the examination fee of 500 rupees, whether an individual belongs to any category. The processing fee is 200 rupees, unemployed individuals aged between 18 and 46, and SC, ST, BC, EWS, PH, and Ex-servicemen of Telangana are exempted. 

MHSRB Telangana Lab Technician Selection Process 2024

The selection process for recruitment of Lab Technician Grade II under the Director of Medical Education, and two other organizations consists multiple stages, which are as follows:

• Written Exam:
  • The written exam is tentative schedule to be administered on November 10, 2024, across at various exam centres:

• Document Verification:
  • Candidates who will pass the Computer-Based Test will be called for DV.
  • It is estimated that it will be entertained offline most probably within four weeks after the exam conclusion.

The final selection is going to be done on the basis of 100 points, by taking 80 points from the CBT and 20 points from the service in state government hospitals, institutions, programmes on contract or outsourced basis.
