MPPSC State Services Notification 2025: 158 Vacancies, Apply Online, Eligibility 

The notification for State Service Examination 2025 has been released by the MPPSC. It was made public on December 31, 2024, for the aspirants who are to be appointed on various administrative positions in different terms under the Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Individuals interested in appearing in the State Service Examination 2025 should know that the application form is available on the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission at https://www.mppsc.mp.gov.in/ from 3 to 17 January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterias for the Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2025 is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

  • Educational Qualification: One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a university recognised by the University Grant Commission.
  • Age Limit: One’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years, the upper age limit for Non-Uniformed and Uniformed is 40 years and 33 years, respectively, as of January 01, 2025.

Note: The upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years, 5 years and 10 years for OBC-NCL, SC & ST, and PwBD.

Application Fee

In order to apply for the MPPSC State Services Examination 2025, a candidate who belongs to UR is required to deposit the application fee of ₹500/-, and the payable amount for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PH candidates is only ₹250/-. The deadline to pay the required fee is January 17, 2025, using the debit card, credit card or any other provided payment gateway.

Vacancy:

The number of vacancies for the State Services Examination 2025 is disclosed by the MPPSC with the release of notification. There are a total number 158 vacancies, out of which, 38, 24, 48, 35, and 13 are for Unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section, respectively.

Selection Process:

The selection process for various positions under the MPPSC State Services Examination 2025 consists of multiple stages, which are Prelims, Mains and Interview.

Prelims
  • Mode: Offline
  • Duration: 4 hours (2 hours for each paper)
  • Total Questions: 200 (100 questions in each paper)
  • Maximum Marks: 400
  • Question Type: Objective 
  • Marking Scheme:
    • +2 marks for each correct answer
    • -1/3 mark for each incorrect answer (negative marking)
  • Sections:
    • Paper I: General Studies (100 Questions)
    • Paper II: General Aptitude Test (100 Questions)
  • Medium: Hindi & English
Mains
  • Mode: Offline
  • Duration: 3 hours per paper (2 hours for General Hindi and Essay)
  • Maximum Marks: 1400
  • Question Type: Descriptive
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Full marks for well-answered questions
    • No negative marking for incorrect answers
  • Sections:
    • Paper I: General Studies I (300 marks)
    • Paper II: General Studies II (300 marks)
    • Paper III: General Studies III (300 marks)
    • Paper IV: General Studies IV (200 marks)
    • Paper V: General Hindi (200 marks)
    • Paper VI: Hindi Essay Writing (100 marks)
  • Medium: Hindi & English

Interview

  • Mode: In-person 
  • Duration: Typically 15-30 minutes per candidate
  • Maximum Marks: 175
  • Question Type: Personal/Analytical/Behavioral Questions
  • Marking Scheme: Based on the candidate’s responses and overall personality
  • Medium: Hindi or English 

Candidates who will apply will be called for the Prelims, which will be followed by the Mains, and the Interview will take place. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of individuals’ performance in the last two stages of the selection process.
