Nagpur Municipal Corporation Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of various positions under the Nagpur Municipal Corporation is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification:

• Junior Engineer (Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an institution recognised by the AICTE.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an institution recognised by the AICTE.
• Nurse: Intermediate from a school recognised by the MSBSHSE or CBSE. Additionally, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Certification from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
• Tree Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or Forestry from university recognised by the UGC.
• Civil Engineering Assistant: Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognised by the AICTE.

Age Limit:

• One’s age shouldn’t be below 18 and above 38 years as of December 26, 2024. The upper age relaxation is applicable as per state government rules, whose details are available below:
  • Other Backward Class: 3 Years
  • Schedule Caste & Scheduled Tribes: 5 Years
  • Person with Benchmark Disability: 10 Years

Nagpur Municipal Corporation Application Fee 2025

In order to apply for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil) & (Electrical), Nurse (GNM), Tree Officer and Civil Engineering Assistant, a candidate who belongs to the Unreserved category is required to pay the application fee of ₹1,000/-. Individuals who belong to the Reserved category are required to pay ₹900/- from the payment of the application fee.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation Selection Process 2025

The selection process for recruitment of various positions under the Nagpur Municipal Corporation consists of multiple stages, which are Computer-Based Test and Interview. You may check the details about each stage by going through the listed points.

• Computer-Based Test: Candidates who will apply for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical), Nurse (GNM), Tree Officer or Civil Engineering Assistant under the NMC will be called for the CBT. There is high speculation that the CBT will be held in the second quarter of 2025.
• Interview: Candidates who will pass the CBT will be called for the second stage of the selection process. It will take place in face-to-face mode. Individuals should know that the Interview is expected to be held within a few weeks after the release of the result for the first stage.
