Namo Shetkari 6th Installment Date: When will you are going to get payment?

The Maharashtra government has started the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana in 2023 to support the farmers financially. The farmers already received ₹6000 annually from the central government scheme PM-Kisan Yojana, and with this scheme they got the extra support from the state government. 

The Maharashtra farmers receive the Namo Shetkari support in three installments just like PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The last installment of the scheme was made in October 2024, the farmers are now waiting for the 6th installment. Namo Shetkari 6th Installment Date

The Maharashtra government Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana provides the needed support to the farmers for their agriculture needs and helps them to complete their needs. With state and central government separate schemes for farmers, the eligible farmers get ₹12,000 annually. 

The amount will be increased now as the state government has announced the increase in the annual payment to support the farmers. Under the Namo Shetkari scheme, the government provides support in three installments in a year. Till now, the government has made 5 installments, the farmers are now waiting for the 6th installment. 

The state government has not released the official payment for the 6th installment date, however, based on the scheme guidelines, the farmers can expect the payment in every four months, so farmers can expect the payment in March 2025. According to reports and the previous installment schedule, the farmers can expect payment after 10 March 2025.

How can you check the Namo Shetkari beneficiary status?

The farmers who have applied for the Namo Shetkari scheme and are waiting for the payout should know that they should check the beneficiary status to get the assurance that they will receive the next payment. The authority updates the beneficiary status as per the applicant’s eligibility, hence the farmers should check it regularly in the following steps to see if they are still eligible for the payment:

• You should go to the Namo Shetkari scheme official portal mentioned above.
• Next, you should click on the Beneficiary status on the homepage.
• Next, you should select your option to check the status, the options are Registartion number and Aadhar Registered mobile number. 
• Once you select your option, enter the respective number in the box and enter the Security code to get the Aadhar OTP.
• You will get the OTP on eKYC registered mobile number, once you complete the OTP verification, your Namo Shetkari beneficiary status will appear on your screen. 

The farmers can also check the 6th installment date on the scheme portal when they log in to the portal through their login credentials and check their application details, where they can also find the upcoming payment date. 

Who can receive the Namo Shetkari Scheme benefits?

The Maharashtra farmers wondering about the eligibility for the Namo Shetkari scheme can check the eligibility criteria set by the government below:

• The farmers or farmer’s families who have cultivated land since 2019, and the applicant is also eligible for the PM KISAN scheme and receives the assistance from the central government scheme. 
• The applicant should have a bank account in their name and it should be linked to their Aadhar card for the direct bank transfer. 
• The farmer’s family member who works in the government sector or has been in a government post cannot apply for the scheme.
• If any member of the family is MLA or holds any legislative post in the past, he/she cannot apply for this scheme. 

Namo Shetkari Scheme Increased payment 

The Maharashtra government has recently announced that they will increase NSMNY payments to support the eligible farmers. Chief Minister Fadnavis on Monday made this announcement in an event in Nagpur that the state government has planned to increase the annual payment of Namo Shetkari scheme from ₹6000 to ₹9000.  

The government has taken this decision to ensure the financial stability of the farmers and help them focus on agriculture more. This step would also save them from third-party loan sharks and help them complete their agriculture needs without any worry. With the increase in the financial assistance, the farmer would receive a total assistance of ₹15,000 combining the central government support. The government has not confirmed from which installment the increase in the NSMNY payment would be applicable. 

However, this is good news for the state farmers as they will receive more from the State government. The Namo Shetkari Scheme 6th installment would be processed soon after 10 March 2025, so the beneficiaries are requested to check their beneficiary status and do check the bank account at that time.
