NCC Special Entry Scheme 2025
The Indian Army has released the Short Service Commission notice for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 58th Course (October 2025) for both men and Women. The recruitment involves the wards of the Battle Casualties of the Army personnel and the recruitment of Unmarried male and female candidates.
The Indian Army has opened the application for the NCC Special Entry scheme from 14 February 2025 to 15 March 2025. Candidates interested in the 58th Courses commencing in October 2025 should apply now, as the deadline for the application is just a few days away.
The candidates shortlisted through this recruitment drive would go under training of 49 weeks from October 2025. Under this recruitment drive, the Indian Army plans to select 70 Men and 06 Women under the NCC special entry.

NCC Special Entry Scheme 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for the NCC Special Entry Scheme can check their eligibility to apply through the following eligibility conditions:
Nationality:
- The candidates should be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, and Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
- Candidates who are not from Indian origin should present the eligibility certificate issued by the Government of Indian to apply for the post.
Age Limit:
- The age limit of the National Cadet Corps and Ward of Battle Casualties is 19 to 25 years as on 01 July 2025, that is, born not before 02 July 2000 and not after 01 July 2006.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have the NCC “C” certificate, the candidates should have a degree from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- The candidates appearing in the final examinations of their degree course can also apply for the NCC Special Entry.
- Candidates should have served in the NCC Senior Division Wing/ Wg for at least two/three years.
- The candidates should have at least a B grade in the NCC C Certificate.
The Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel candidates should have a degree qualification with at least 50% marks from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. The candidates from the Battle Casualties do not have to present the NCC C certificate.
NCC Special Entry Scheme 2025 Selection Process
Candidates who wish to join the Indian Army through the NCC Special Entry Scheme should know the following selection process:
- The recruiting body will shortlist the candidates based on their qualifications and send the centre allotment to the candidates through email. The candidates will have to log into the website and select their SSB dates on the website.
- The candidates shortlisted for the NCC entry scheme will undergo the SSB at selection centres, such as Bhopal, Prayagraj, Jalandhar, and Bengaluru. The SSB interview call letter will be sent to the candidates through email.
- The candidates will have to go through the two-stage selection process in the SSB selection, where candidates have to clear Stage I to move towards Stage II. The SSB interview will be conducted for five days, and the full details will be communicated to the candidates through email.
- In the selection process, the Indian Army will also check the medical fitness to be shortlisted for the training.

- You should visit the official website of the Join Indian Army mentioned above.
- Next, you should click on Officer Entry Application/ Login and click the Registration page.
- Next, you should fill out the online registration form and then click on Apply Online.
- Next, in the Officer Selection Eligibility page, you should enter your DOB, Gender, Qualification, marital status, and NCC Certificate or War of Battle Casualties.
- Once you mark the eligibility, you will move to the application form and enter all the asked details.
- Once you fill out the application form, upload the supporting documents, and submit the application after checking all the entries in the application.
