The application form for the NPCIL Recruitment 2025 is made available with the release of notification. The window to submit the application form is all set to be available on the web-portal upto April 01, 2025. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for recruitment of Scientific Assistant, Stipendiary Trainee, Assistant, Nurse and X-Ray Technician under the NPCIL is available below in terms of educational qualification and age limit.

1. Scientific Assistant-B

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Diploma (3 years) in Engineering after SSC/HSC (10+2) OR
    • HSC + 2 years Diploma in Engineering (Approved by AICTE)
    • Minimum 60% marks required
    • Disciplines eligible:
      • Civil
      • Electrical
      • Instrumentation
      • Electronics
      • Mechanical
    • For SA/B (Computer Science):
      • BSc (Computer Science) with minimum 60% marks OR
      • BSc with 60% marks + 1-year Diploma in Computer Science OR
      • BSc (Statistics) with 60% marks + 1-year Diploma in Computer Science
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

2. Category-I: Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Diploma (3 years) in Engineering with minimum 60% marks OR
    • HSC + 2 years Diploma in relevant discipline through lateral entry (10+2 to 2nd year Diploma)
    • Disciplines eligible:
      • Electrical
      • Mechanical
      • Instrumentation
      • Electronics
    • ST/SA (Health Physics):
      • BSc (minimum 60%)
      • Physics as a principal subject
      • Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science as subsidiary subjects
      • Mathematics required at HSC level
      • Candidates with Mathematics as the principal subject in BSc are not eligible
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years

3. Category-II: Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/Technician)

(i) Technician – Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Draughtsman (Civil/Mechanical)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • SSC (10th) with at least 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually
    • 2 years ITI in relevant trade
    • If ITI course duration is less than 2 years, at least 1-year work experience is required
    • English required at SSC level
  • Experience Required:
    • 1-year work experience if ITI is less than 2 years
  • Age Limit: 18-24 years

(ii) Technician – Operator

  • Educational Qualification:
    • HSC (10+2) or ISC with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
    • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
    • English required at SSC level
  • Age Limit: 18-24 years

4. Assistant Grade-1 (HR/F&A/C&MM)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
    • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
  • Age Limit: 21-28 years

5. Nurse – A

  • Educational Qualification (Any one of the following):
    • HSC (10+2) + Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years) OR
    • BSc in Nursing OR
    • Nursing “A” Certificate with 3 years hospital experience OR
    • Nursing Assistant Class III and above from Armed Forces
  • Experience Required:
    • Mandatory for candidates with “Nursing A” Certificate (3 years hospital experience)
  • Age Limit: 18-30 years

6. Technician/C (X-Ray Technician)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • HSC (10+2) with Science stream with 60% marks
    • 1-year Medical Radiography/X-Ray Technique Trade Certificate
    • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience Required: 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Age Limit: 18-25 years

  • PwBD:
    • UR/EWS: +10 years

Selection Process

The selection process for recruitment against the position of Scientific Assistant, Stipendiary Trainee, Assistant, Nurse and X-Ray Technician under the NPCIL consists multiple stages, which are as follows:

Application Fee

To apply for the NPCIL Recruitment 2025, a male candidate is required to deposit the application fee using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway. You may check the details about it by going through the listed points.

  • Scientific Assistant-B, Category-I: Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA), Nurse-A – ₹150
  • Category-II: Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/TN), Assistant Grade-1 (HR/F&A/C&MM), Technician/C (X-Ray Technician) – ₹100

All female aspirants, and male individuals who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD or DODPKIA are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

Pay Scale

  • Scientific Assistant – B: ₹54,162/- per month

  • Stipendiary Trainee (ST/SA) (Scientific Assistant):
    • Training Stipend: ₹24,000 – ₹26,000 per month
    • After Training Salary: ₹54,162/- per month
  • Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) (Technician):
    • Training Stipend: ₹20,000 – ₹22,000 per month
    • After Training Salary: ₹33,201/- per month
