The number of vacancies for recruitment of Sepoy (Constable) in the Odisha Special Armed Police, India Reserve, Special India Reserve Battalion and Special Security Battalion is 1360. Aspirants are required to know that out of total vacancies, 915, 06, 189 and 250 are UR, SEBC, SC and ST, respectively.
OSAP IRB Eligibility Criteria 2024

OSAP IRB Application Fee 2024
To submit an application form for recruitment of Sepoys / Constables in different IR / SIR / Special Security Battalions in the Odisha Police, there is no requirement of application fee payment, whether the individual belongs to UR, SEBC, SC or ST.
OSAP IRB Selection Process 2024
The selection process for Sepoy (Constable) in the OSAP, India Reserve, Special India Reserve Battalion and Special Security Battalion is available below.

Candidates who will apply will be called for Computer Based Recruitment Examination, which will be followed by the Physical Standard and Measurement Test, then individuals will have an option to appear in the Driving Test, which is optional, and at the end, Medical Examination will be entertained, which will be followed by Document Verification.
The weightage of CBRE will be of 100 marks, PST & PET will be qualifying, Driving Test, which is optional, carries weight of 5 marks for Heavy Motor Vehicle, only 3 marks for Light Motor Vehicles, and the Medical Examination is also qualifying.
Candidates with NCC Certificate will get the 2 marks as bonus, the final selection is going to be done on the basis of 100 marks in the Written Exam, 5 marks in the Driving Test (optional), and 2 marks for NCC. Whose score out of 107 marks will meet or exceed the cut off will be appointed.
OSAP IRB Pay Scale 2024
Candidates who will be appointed as Sepoy (Constable) in the OSAP, IR, SIR Battalion and Special Security Battalion, after going through the selection process will get the monthly salary range from 21,700 to 69,100 rupees, along with the other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Uniform Allowance, etc,.
Note: The date for CBRE will be announced by the OPSSB, Cuttack, most probably after the closure of the window for application form. It is estimated that the exam may take place by the end of 2024, and the admit card for the same will be available most probably a week before the scheduled exam date.
