OSSTET 2025 Result: Scorecard Release Soon @bseodisha.ac.in

The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test was successfully conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Odisha, Cuttack on January 17, 2025. The exam is held in offline mode using the OMR Sheets for Arts, CBZ, Hindi, PCM, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu, and the result for all these will be released simultaneously.

The most expected date for release of the result for the OSSTET is February 2025, as the evaluation process is going to take time upto four to six weeks. After the release of the result on the official website of the BSE Odisha, Cuttack, students will be able to download their scorecard to check the subject-wise score and other details.

Passing Criteria

The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 is held in offline mode with an exam time duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes, there were a total number of 150 MCQs of each 1 mark. Individuals should know that to pass the examination a candidate who belongs to Unreserved is required to get 67 marks, which is equivalent to 45% score.

The minimum requirement to be declared successful in OSSTET for the candidates belonging to Socially & Economically Backward Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Person with Benchmark Disability is 35% score, which translates to 52 marks.

What Next?

Following the release of the result for the OSSTET for Arts, CBZ, Hindi, PCM, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu, qualified candidates will be able to download their Certificate by providing the required login credentials. Students who will pass the exam will be able to apply for recruitment of Postgraduate Teacher for the respective subject.

The e-Certificate of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be awarded for OSSTET qualified candidates will remain valid lifetime. Qualified candidates will be able to apply for post of Postgraduate Teacher for Arts, CBZ, Hindi, PCM, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu in any government or private schools of Odisha, as it is required for appointment.
