  • The candidate must have passed the Intermediate (Class 12) Exam with Science, Commerce or Arts stream from a school recognised by the PSEB, Mohali or CBSE, New Delhi.
  • One’s age shouldn’t be below 18 years and 28 years, the upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen and Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes, respectively.

Additionally, the candidate must have studied Punjabi as a Language subject at Middle School, Matriculation or Immediate level.

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment Fee 2025

Candidates who are interested in applying for recruitment of Constable under the Punjab Police Department are required to deposit the application fee and examination fee of ₹500 and ₹650, respectively, using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or any other provided payment gateway, if the individual belongs to Unreserved.

Individuals who belong to the Economically Weaker Section, Backward Class, and Schedule Caste are required to deposit the application fee and examination fee of ₹500 and ₹150, respectively; and those who belong to Ex-Servicemen, Wards of Police Personnel, Wards of Freedom Fighters are required to pay only application fee ₹500.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

Physical Screening Test (PST):

  • For Male Candidates (including Ex-servicemen aged not more than 35 years):
    1. Race: 1600 meters in 6 minutes 30 seconds (1 Chance)
    2. Long Jump: 3.80 meters (3 Chances)
    3. High Jump: 1.10 meters (3 Chances)
  • For Male Candidates (Ex-servicemen aged more than 35 years):
  1. Walk and Run: 1400 meters to be completed in 12 minutes (1 Chance)
  2. Full Squats: 10 full squats within 3 minutes (1 Chance)
  • For Female Candidates (including Ex-servicemen aged not more than 35 years):
  1. Race: 800 meters in 4 minutes 30 seconds (1 Chance)
