The CBT-1 for recruitment of the JE and other posts under the Indian Railways was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board between 16 and 18 December 2024 in which a large number of candidates participated. All the candidates who participated in the exam are informed that its result is likely to be released in the last week of January 2025 on the official website.
There are three stages in the selection process for recruitment of the JE and others under Indian Railways, first is CBT-1, second is CBT-2 and third is DV. Now it is important for those who have participated in the first stage of the selection process to know that its result will be released in the form of a merit list on which the roll numbers of the qualified candidates will be available.
RRB JE Result 2024
The CBT-1 for the JE and any other post has been conducted by RRB against a total of 7951 posts, it is expected that the process of evaluation of the candidates will be completed within 4 to 6 weeks, after which the result will be declared in the form of merit list. After the release of the result, all the candidates will be able to check their qualifying status to participate in the CBT-2.

Those candidates who have appeared in the CBT-1 conducted from 16th and 18th December 2024 against the required JE, it is necessary to know that the merit list will be available for all the RRB zonal websites, within two weeks of its release, the scorecard will also be made available on the official website, by accessing which the candidates will be able to check their score.
RRB JE Merit List 2024
The merit list for the JE and other positions will be prepared by the RRB on the basis of performance of the candidates in the CBT-1 held from 16 to 18 December 2024. The roll numbers and other related credentials of only those candidates will be available in the merit list (result gazette) who will be eligible to participate in the second stage of the selection process i.e. CBT 2.
All the candidates who have participated in the CBT-1 conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board for the post of Junior Engineer and others will be able to download the merit list from the zonal website of the Railway Recruitment Board and check their qualifying status. After its release the direct link for downloading the PDF will also be activated in the table provided by us.
RRB JE Cut Off Marks 2024
A total of 100 objective-type questions were asked in the CBT-1 conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, each of which was carrying one mark i.e. total weightage of the exam was 100 marks, it is expected that the cut off mark for General category may be between 72 to 77 marks, the actual cut off mark which candidates are eagerly awaited will be released along with the result.
The cut off mark for to be declared in CBT-1 held against the 7951 positions of Junior Engineer and others will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board along with the merit list. It is likely to be available on the last page of the result PDF. Candidates must know that the cut off mark for reserved categories i.e. SC/ST will be less than that of General (Unreserved) due to reservation.
