Exam Date & Timing
The National Testing Agency is all set to hold the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2025 for Class 6 and Class 9 in March 2025. The exact date for the exam is yet to be disclosed officially, there is a high speculation that it will be administered in the second week of March 2025.
The expected timing for Class 6 and Class 9 Exam is 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, respectively. Students who have enrolled to participate in this exam will have to report at the respective exam centre by 01:00 am with a photo identity card and a physical copy of admit card, as both are required to get entry inside the exam hall.
Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for the AISSEE 2025 is available below in terms of mode, duration, total questions, maximum marks, question type, marking scheme, section and medium for both Class 6 and Class 9.
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted offline i.e. it will be pen-and-paper based.
- Duration: Class V exam will last for 2.5 hours (150 minutes), and Class IX will last 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Total Questions: There will be a total of 125 questions in total.
- Maximum Marks: The maximum marks for Class 6 and Class 9 is going to be 300 marks and 400 marks, respectively.
- Question Type: All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer earns +1 mark, and each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. Unanswered questions do not affect your score.
