The Telangana state government on Saturday, 4 January 2025, announced that they are going to pay a maximum of ₹12,000 per acre annually to all landowner and landless agricultural labourers. The scheme is also called Indiramma Athmeeya Rythu Bharosa.The scheme can provide financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per acre for each season.
The government also announced that the scheme can provide benefits until March 31, 2025. To maintain the security and transparency of the payments, the DBT method can be used to deliver the benefit amount directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status
The Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday confirmed the implementation of the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ investment support scheme for qualifying farmers and also provision of new ration cards from January 26, 2025. The Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment amounts will be extended without any conditions.
The scheme can provide a maximum of Rs. 12,000 per acre for cultivable land to qualifying farmers, aimed to help them to cover the agricultural costs such as seeds, fertilizers, equipment, etc. It is expected that this scheme can cover the tenant farmers as well as farm workers.
But the detailed information will be disclosed in the coming days. Qualifying farmers will be able to track their Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status after navigating to the official website and after putting out all required details.
Steps to check Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status
Here is the step by step procedure to track Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status in 2025.
- Navigate to the https://pfms.nic.in/Home.aspx website.
- Candidates need to enter their login details like username, password to track their Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status.
- Search out the DBT Payment Status button and then click it.
- A new web page will appear on your display screen.
- Put out all the required details such as your Aadhaar number, bank account number, etc.
- Press the check status button to view your Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Status in 2025.
Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Amount
Revanth confirmed that the Rythu Bharosa Payment amount will be increased from the former Rs 10,000 per acre annually to Rs 12,000 per acre annually now. He stated that, This decision was finalized after keeping the state’s current financial condition in mind.
The CM disclosed that the government’s aim was to raise its Rythu Bharosa Payment and distribute it equally among the poor. After a question asked about the Congress promise of Rs 15,000 per acre, the CM confirmed that the cabinet decided about Rs 12,000 because of the state’s current fiscal situation.
Telangana Rythu Bharosa Eligibility requirements
The decision to increase Rythu Bharosa at the rate of ₹12,000 per acre yearly is basically designed to provide more financial assistance to the qualifying farmer,” the chief minister said. He, however, confirmed that the Rythu Bharosa Payment will be provided to the farmers who own agricultural land without considering whether they are fit for agriculture or not.
However, landowners, whose land has been used for other purposes, will not be able to get benefit from this scheme. It is also announced that the financial aid of Rythu Bharosa will not be delivered to non-agricultural landowners.
This contains land that was utilized for roads, residential, industrial and commercial purposes, for mining, real estate development, and land acquired for govt projects or industries. It is also announced that to qualify for Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment, farmers need to be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment Date
Telangana Rythu Bharosa payments will be directly delivered in the eligible farmers
bank accounts before March 31, 2025. The delivery process of this scheme was already started from January 26, 2025.
It is also important to know that from the total scheme funds of ₹12,000 per year, every qualifying farmer can receive Rs. 6,000 per acre of cultivable land every season. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance and support agricultural activities of the state.
If a qualifying farmer will not receive their Telangana Rythu Bharosa Payment before the expected payout date then they need to have patience for at least four to five working days before contacting the officials.
