UPPSC AE Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for the appointment of Assistant Engineer (AE) for different disciplines under various organisations and departments in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
- Educational Qualification: A candidate must have pursued a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology in the respective discipline from an institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
- Age Limit: An individual’s age shouldn’t be below 21 years and above 40 years, the upper age relaxation is applicable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC and ST.
UPPSC AE Application Fee 2024
To apply for recruitment of AE for any discipline through the webportal of the UPPSC, a candidate who belongs to Unreserved, Other Backward Class or Economically Weaker Section is required to pay ₹225/-, the payable for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes is ₹105/-, and those who belongs to Physically Handicapped are required to pay only ₹25/-.
UPPSC AE Selection Process 2024
The selection process for recruitment of Assistant Engineer for different disciplines under the various departments and organizations of UP state government consists two stages, which are as follows:
- Written Exam (Prelims & Mains): Candidates who will apply for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer will be called for the Prelims, which will followed by the Mains; individuals need to know that the date for the first stage and of the selection process isn’t yet disclosed by the UPPSC, but there is a high speculation that prelims will be administered in first quarter of 2025.
- Interview: Individuals who will pass the first two stages will be called for Interview, there is a high speculation that the last stage of the selection process will be administered within four to six weeks after the announcement of the result for the second stage of the selection process.
UPPSC AE Pay Scale 2024
Individuals who want to be appointed as Assistant Engineer in various organisations and departments under the Uttar Pradesh state government will get a monthly salary range from ₹15,600/- to ₹39,100/- with grade pay of ₹5,400/-.
